June: Mattering Over Marketing


We wanted to raise awareness of the dangers of marketing—which nowadays mostly creates artificial needs, and makes us forget what really matters—which nowadays tends to blur the line between truth and lies, slowly making us forget what truly matters—and motivate people in the field to reconsider their attitudes, and start thinking more about what they are propagating.

In the first part, we focused on some known greenwashing practices and greenwashers.

In the second part, we put together a short summary of what is greenwashing and a few tips how to recognize it and how to protect yourself against in.

This month we’ve attached an open letter to people in the marketing industry, and producers who make and sell products and services expressing why we need to transition from marketing to mattering. At the moment it's only in czech, but we'll link the photo above to it as soon as we a english version ready.
